Nine year old Monty Stephenson Died Sunday in a drowning accident at Clearwater park in Grant county just south of Marion Indiana. Monty Allen Stephenson of Yorktown Indiana apparently suffered a cramp and drowned. Witnesses say that young Monty went under and then came up. He went under again. When the two life guards pulled him from the water. He was already dead. Monty was a fifth grader at Yorktown Elementary school. He was a member of the Junior Athletic Association. Monty was buried in the Jones Cemetery in Delaware county.
