Harry Thomas Davis Jr., of Hampton, died Tuesday, Dec. 14, 1993.
A native of Portsmouth, Mr. Davis retired from NASA in 1973. He was a member of St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church and was secretary-treasurer of Young America Bowling Alliance. He was an Army veteran of World War II.
Survivors include two daughters, Rosalie D. Greene and Mary Frances D. Kurtyka; a son, H. Thomas Davis III, all of Hampton; and nine grandchildren.
A Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at 2 p.m. Saturday in St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, Hampton. A Christian wake service will be held at 7 p.m. Friday in Lawrence B. Wood Funeral Home, 4304 Victoria Blvd., Hampton, after which the family will receive friends. The family suggests memorial donations to the Building Fund of St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, 2110 Bay Ave., Hampton, VA 23661, or the Young America Bowling Alliance Scholarship Fund, 17 Evans Grove Road, Poquoson, VA 23662.
