Pauline Belle was the daughter of Loucinda Florence Hines and
Elbert Gideon Owens.She was granddaughter to John G Owens and Amanda (Bibee) Owens ; Robert Hines jr and Elizabeth (Reed Allen) Hines. Pauline was born Jan 20, 1917
in the Scotland community of Joplin, Missouri.
She married John Edgar Goodrich Jan 15,1938 .

Mrs. E. G. Owens of Carthage announce
the marriage of their daughter,
Miss Pauline Owens, to John
E. Goodrich, son of Mrs. Mary
Goodrich of Joplin. The ceremony
took place Saturday night in the
office of Justice R. L. Mitchell in
Joplin. Mr. and Mrs. Goodrich will
make their home here.

CARTHAGE, Mo
Pauline Owens Goodrich, age 89, of
rural Carthage, passed away at 12:50 p.m. Tuesday,
Aug. 1, 2006, at her home following several years of
ill health.

Pauline was born Jan. 20, 1917, in the Scotland
Community east of Joplin and was a lifetime area
resident.

Pauline was married to John E. Goodrich on Jan. 15,
1938, in Joplin, Mo. He preceded her in death on Nov.
29, 1982.

She was also preceded in death by a son, Don Goodrich;
and two sisters, Hazel Stow and Kay Wimbish.

Survivors include two sons, Charles E. Goodrich,
Duenweg, Mo., and Maurice W. Goodrich, Seneca, Mo.;
four daughters, Connie Greenwood and Judith Johnson,
both of Joplin, and Janice Goodrich and Glenda Brand,
both of rural Carthage; two brothers, Bassel Owens,
Denton, Texas, and Burl Owens, of the Scotland
Community, east of Joplin; two sisters, Maxine Brown,
Bessmer, Ala., and Amanda Smith, Joplin; eight
grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and two
great-great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at the
Mason-Woodard Chapel with Jamie Lankford, Minister,
officiating. Burial will be in the Forest Park
Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 9:30
a.m. Friday until the service at the chapel.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Mason-Woodard
Mortuary, of Joplin.
