"Crackers in the Glade: The Life, Art and Writings of Rob Storter, Everglade Pioneer" is currently on exhibit at the Museum of the Everglades. Storter was born in Everglade (now Everglades City) in 1894. The exhibit, which runs through November 2001, features his untutored artwork, family photographs and excerpts from his journals. The museum at 105 W. Broadway in Everglades City. Museum hours are Tuesday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Admission is free. Information: 695-0008.
