Gunnard E. Pederson, 82, who retired from Cascade Construction in 1977, died at home Monday, Oct. 6, 1997. He worked for the company for 35 years.
Born Aug. 30, 1915, in Wyoming, Minn., Mr. Pederson lived in Clark County for 57 years.
Survivors include his wife of 47 years, Clara, at home; four daughters, Pat Raulerson and Jackie Brumfiel, both of Vancouver, Sandy Long of Stevenson and Maryann Hall of Battle Ground; one son, Danny of Vancouver; one brother, Gust of St. Paul, Minn.; 16 grandchildren; and 26 great-grandchildren.
Mr. Pederson enjoyed traveling and dancing. He liked to play bingo and collect cribbage boards.
A memorial service will begin at 7 p.m. Thursday at Burton Church of God. Inurnment will be in Evergreen Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
