Trimmer Killed at Eleva
OSSEO, Wis, (Special) - Leonard Hollister, 56, died shortly after 1 p.m. Monday of crushing injuries to the head and chest while working.

MR. HOLLISTER was born August 21, 1906, near Mondovi, son of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Hollister. He had lived in the Mondovi and Eleva areas until moving to Town of Unity near Osseo. He was a farmer and logger. He married Gladys Larson Oct. 9, 1935. She was his third wife, and she had been married previously. He was previously married to Mary Rose (Perry) Connet who died in 1937 and Julia Urness Rud.

Survivors are: His wife Gladys, four sons, Leonard Jr., Mondovi, and Roger, Daniel and William Hollister at home; three daughters Calvin (Annice) Eversold, West Bend, Wis.; Mrs. Lois Martinson-Reinke, Black River Falls, and Mary Jane, at home; five stepsons, Dennis Hanson, at home; Ronald Hanson, Viroqua, Harold Connet, Eau Claire, and Curtis and James Rud of Mondovi; five stepdaughters, Mrs. Duane (Darlene) Gorkowski, Racine; Mrs, Raymond (Joan) Moore, Plymouth, Wis.; Sandra, at home; Mrs. Arthur (Hilda) Rud-Sessions, Mondovi, and Mrs. Raymond (Selma) Rud-Waldbilling, Milwaukee; five grandchildren; two brothers. Galen, Strum, and La Verne of Mondovi, two half brothers Gary Anderson of Mondovi and Harold Anderson, Eau Claire, and two half-sisters, Mrs. Lyman (Gladys) Lawrence and Mrs. Wayne (Alice) Lawrence, Eau Claire.

THE FUNERAL service will W Thursday al 2 p.m. al Mondovi Methodist Church, the Rev J. Edward Phillips officiating. Burial will be in the Eleva Cemetery. Friends may call at Kjentvet Son Funeral Home, Mondovj, Wednesday afternoon and evening the church after noon.
