William Tracy Hayley went to be with his Heavenly Father on August 21, 2015. Tracy was born on June 30, 1942 to WB and Edythe Henslee Hayley. He was born in Seymour, but moved to Fort Worth in 1953. He graduated in 1961 from North Side High School. Tracy and Colette raised their family in North Richland Hills and he lived there until his death. Tracy was well known for his cooking skills, especially his barbeque. He never needed a recipe and loved to participate in barbeque cook-offs. He loved meeting people and was able to share his love of cooking all over the country.

Tracy is preceded in death by his parents and his bother Duane Hayley. He is survived by his wife, Colette Witten Hayley, sister, Wynette (Jerry) Dollar, sister in-laws, Sue Ann Hayley, Beverly (Bob) Westberg, Barbara Wolfe, Joyce Witten and brother-in-law, Randy (Brenda) Witten. Tracy had five daughters, Holley Dean, Michelle (Shannon) Stubbs, Laura Hayley, Stacey Hayley and Courtney (Jonathan) Elliott. He had 11 grandchildren, Cody (Emily) Dean, Hayley (Layton) Killingsworth, Jacob and Ryan Stubbs, Sarah and Meagan Terry, Cash and Colt Knifong, Orry, Hank and Milo Elliott, and a great granddaughter, Finley Dean. He also had numerous nieces and nephews.

Tracy’s grandchildren loved their Paw Paw. The last few years were physically hard for him. The little boys loved to take care of their Paw Paw and he loved them. Tracy had many friends, most of them were life long and will miss him dearly.

Services will be held at the Shannon Rufe Snow Funeral Chapel in North Richland Hills Thursday August 27th at 11:00 am. He will be interred in the New Manassa Cemetery in Colorado with Colette’s family on August 29th.
