First Lt. Wm. F. Heydrick received a citation recently from the president for excellent record and work with the US Army Signal Corps. This citation was presented to him by his commanding general. He has been in the Army for the past ten years and is now stationed in the Netherlands East Indies.
Lt. Heydrick's home is in Brattleboro, VT. During the past three years he has made many friends here. His wife is the former Miss Sarah Marguerite Wilson of this city. She is making her home in Thomaston for the duration.
