Dorothy “Dot” Stepan, 88, of Hamshire, Texas, died Wednesday, August 26, 2015, at The Arboretum of Winnie, Texas.
She was born on August 28, 1926, in San Antonio, Texas to Bertha McLaughlin Wentworth and Marvin Wentworth, had been a longtime resident of Port Arthur, before moving to the Hamshire area.
Dot enjoyed spending time with her family, and was devout in her faith and dedicated to her St. Louis Catholic Church family. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
Mrs. Stepan is survived by her sons, Ron Stepan and his wife, Georgette and Jerry Stepan and his wife, Patricia; daughters, Karrie Clayton and her husband, Martin and Viki Lozano and her husband, James; eleven grandchildren, and fifteen great-grandchildren and numerous other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and husband of fifty-nine years, Charles “Sonny” Stepan; son, Richard Glenn Stepan; brothers, Marvin, Jr., Terry and Ben Wentworth; and sister, Cleo Knouff.
