Bonnie M. Coates, 77, of Vilonia went to be with the Lord on Thursday, August 27, 2015. She was born in Carthage, Missouri to the late Kenneth and Gladys Loyd.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Coates; a great grandchild, Memory Rose; and six brothers and sisters.
Bonnie and her family moved to California when she was three years old. She moved to Arkansas in 1972. For the last twenty years she has lived in Vilonia. She loved cooking and she loved singing for the Lord which also brought her passion and joy.
She is survived by her children, Pamela Abel, Steven Simpson, and Michael Simpson all of Vilonia; seven grandchildren; one great grandson and one on the way.
A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, August 31, 2015 at Cypress Valley Cemetery in Vilonia.
