Rev. John Franklin Bunch was born on September 25, 1871, died January 8, 1948, age 77 years. He was married to Rebecca Jane Huddleston in 1889, and to this union was born 11 children, one now deceased. He was converted and joined the Patterson Creek Baptist Church on August 11, 1889, was ordained to the work of the gospel ministry in the Rock Springs Baptist Church in 1921, and was a member of that church at the time of his death. Brother Bunch served the following churches as pastor: Rock Springs, Big Poplar, Carpenter, Mossy Gap, Locust Grove, and Beech Bottom. He was a lover of good men and enjoyed the fellowship of his brethren. We feel that a great man has been called from our midst, but we have every reason to believe that he has gone to heaven, his eternal home. To his wife, children, relatives and friends, you may feel assured of our sympathy, and may God's blessing rest upon you all is our prayer.

Respectfully Submitted,
ROCK SPRINGS BAPTIST CHURCH
