Delores (Abrahamson) Lindberg 77, of Auburn WA passed away peacefully March 9, 2015, at Virginia Mason Hospital Seattle WA after a courageous 2 year battle with pancreatic cancer.

Delores was born in Crookston March 9, 1938, the daughter of Bert and Edna (Hoiseth) Abrahamson. She was baptized and confirmed at Trinity Lutheran Church and attended country school through the 8th grade then attended Central High School in Crookston.

In October, 1955, she married Don Lindberg of Crookston at Trinity Lutheran Church and they moved to Tukwila WA to begin their new life together. They became the parents of 3 children, Douglas, Debra and Daryl. Sadly Don passed away November, 2000. She moved to Auburn WA a short time later.

Delores was employed at the Boeing Company for 30 years before retiring. After a short time of being retired she began a 6 year part time job with Expeditors in Kent WA. She and Don were members of Glendale Lutheran Church of Burien, WA. She also was a member of the Order of Eastern Star.

Delores loved her yard and raised many beautiful flowers. She also loved gardening, golfing, going for walks and meeting friends for coffee and lunch.

Surviving Delores are her son Douglas and her daughter Debra (Steve) Peterson both of Auburn WA. Also surviving are grandsons David (Lindsey) Peterson of Federal Way WA and Ryan Peterson of Auburn WA, 2 sisters Janice (Dale) Finkenbinder of Crookston and Judy (Jack) Farden Tukwila WA, 2 brothers Earl (Patsy) Abrahamson of Crookston and Roger Abrahamson of Coon Rapids, MN. Many nieces, nephews, and cousins also survive.

Preceding her in death in addition to Don were a son Daryl at 17 months of age, parents Bert and Edna (Hoiseth) Abrahamson, a sister Dorothy and brother in-law Lester Bremer of Coon Rapids, MN , brothers Harold Abrahamson of Crookston and Howard Abrahamson Fertile, MN.

At her request there will be no funeral services. Following cremation her ashes will be placed alongside of Don's at Tahoma National Veterans Cemetery in Kent WA.
