Mrs. Ada F. Deist, 73, of Jenners, died April 2 in Somerset Community Hospital. Born March 20, 1895, in Garrett Co., Md., a daughter of Daniel and Mary (Wetmiller) Meese. Preceded in death by husband, Benjamin and a daughter, Mrs. Evelyn Gohn. Survived by these children; Edith, wife of Luther Avery, Dover, Pa.; Daniel and Dalton, both of Jenners; Donald, Boswell; Charles, Ellicott, Md.; Miss Emily, at home; 26 grandchildren and 30 great grandchildren. She was a sister of Mrs. Eva Landis, Salisbury; Mrs. Alda Layman and Geroge, both of Frostburg, Md.; Mrs. June Koyoca, Bakerton, Ohio; Woodrow, Avaco, N.Y. Member of Jenners Grace Brethren Church. Friends received after 7 p.m. Thursday in Jospeh H. Hoffman Funeral Home, Boswell, where services will be 2 p.m. Saturday with the Rev. James F. Hoffmeyer officiating. Interment in Somerset County Memorial Park.
