She was a member of Midtown Baptist Church.
Born in Greene County, she had lived for several years in Hawkins County and resided in Hamblen County for the past 30 years.
Mrs. Horton died Saturday, Dec. 8 in Tacoma Hospital, Greeneville.
She was preceded in death by her husband, J.N. Horton.
She is survived by two stepdaughters, Mrs. Chester (Lois) McClain of Surgoinsville and Mrs. Sturm (Helen) Lawson of Whitesburg; one sister, Mrs. Dorothy Cooper of Akron, Ohio; one half sister, Nell Ryan of Mount Carmel; five half brothers, John Dunn, Paul Dunn and David Dunn, all of Port Clinton, Ohio, James Dunn of Kingsport and Frank Dunn of Church Hill; several nieces and nephews.
Interment was in Highland Cemetery.
