Edward served his country honorably in the United States Navy during WWII. Edward was a successful business owner at Austin's Inc. for over 43 years. He was a member of the Winslow Twp. Economical Business Development Department for many years. His family was everything to him.
Beloved husband of Doris (nee Richardson) for 57 years. Devoted father of Virginia Phero, John Alston, Gary Alston, Thomas Alston and Edward Alston. Dear brother of the late Thelma, the late Bob and the late Bill Alston. Loving grandfather of Brooke, Kali, Lori, Amy, Jaclyn, Rachael and Gabrielle. Loving great grandfather of Brielle, Isabella and Frankie.
Relatives and friends are invited to his visitation on Friday from 12:00 - 1:00 PM at the BELL-HENNESSY FUNERAL HOME, 420 S. Main St., Williamstown. Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 PM. Interment with Military Honors will follow at the Gloucester County Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Williamstown.
