She was born August 12, 1912, in Beaverdam, to Virgil and Alice (Chandler) Stauffer. On August 3, 1963, she married Herschel Kirchner in Toledo. He preceded her in death May 4, 1977.
Surviving was a son, Virgil Stevenson of Tiffin; a sister, Miss Madeline Stauffer of Tiffin; and a brother, William Stauffer, also of Tiffin.
A sister preceded her in death.
Mrs. Kirchner was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m., Thursday, March 24, 1988, at Hannay-Nemeth Mortuary with the Rev. David Culp officiating. Interment was in Greenlawn Cemetery.
Visitation was held from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m., Wednesday, March 23, 1988, at the funeral home.
