Near the Lake Erie Depot

Samuel Cord Harrison, commonly known as Cord, died at his home on S. 10th street late Saturday afternoon, after an illness of only a few days. The funeral will be held at the home at 2:30 o'clock Tuesday afternoon. The services will be under the auspices of a Christian Science reader and the interment will take place in Crownland cemetery.

His death was the result of a nervous affliction, which extended over a period of several months. He was at his place of business as late as last Tuesday and it was not known that his condition was serious until a day or two before his death.

He was forty-four years of age and is survived by a wife, a small child, the mother, Mrs. John Harrison, and two brothers, Frank Harrison, of this city, and Ed Harrison, of Chicago. He was born on a farm in the south part of the county and came to Noblesville with his father and her mother several years ago. He established what is known as the Harrison drug store near the Lake Erie depot, and conducted it until his death.

Friends can view the remains at the home from 7 to 9 o'clock this evening and from 8 to 10 o'clock Tuesday afternoon.
