Sudden death in Church---A very sudden death occurred at Middle Spring, near Shippensburg, on Sunday morning last. Services were being held in the Church at Middlespring; a few minutes after the minister commenced his sermon, MR. ANDREW FRAZER, a resident of the neighborhood, was seized with appoplexy, and instantly expired, in his pew. MR. F. was enjoying his usual health up to the moment of his death, Previous to entering the church , a number of persons shook hands with him and enquired how he was. He replied that he was very well.
The deceased was about seventy years of age, was most respectable gentleman, and highly esteemed by all who knew him, and they were many. A large number of friends are left to mourn over his sudden departure; among them is a daughter (MRS. ALLEN) who but a week ago started for the far West, little thinking that she would so soon hear the sad news of her aged father, who she left in the enjoyment of health, was no more!
Another proof of the adage, "In this midst of life we are in death."
The funeral of MR. FRAZER took place on Tuesday morning. His remains were interred in Middle Spring cemetery.
