Alfred Burton White, Jr. 88, formerly of Madisonville, TX; passed away on August 21, 2015 in Conroe. Funeral services are scheduled for 12PM Saturday, August 29, 2015 at Day Funeral Home Chapel in Madisonville with the burial to follow at Conroe Memorial Park in Conroe. A visitation is scheduled for 10-12PM prior to the service. Caleb Williams will officiate. Alfred was born in Conroe to Alfred White, Sr. and Ida Mae (McWaters) White. He served his county in The United States Navy during World War II and worked for Lucas Cedar and Redwood in Montgomery County. Alfred is survived by his daughter, Jean Paddie; his son, Alfred White, III; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; 1 great great-grandchild; and his sister, Evelyn Hardin.
