Norma Jean Wicks, age 84, passed away Monday, August 17, 2015 at the Ohio State Medical Center. She was born on September, 3, 1930 in Gallipolis, OH to the late Marshall and Myrtle Taylor. Norma Jean was a wonderful mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was a Past District President of the American Legion Women’s Auxiliary and was also a member of the Forty and Eight. She is survived by her children, Larry (Sandra) Johnson and Pamela (Rick) Ochs; grandchildren, Anthony Lyons, Corey Lyons, Amanda Ochs, Christine Ochs, Leslie Brown and Vincent Johnson; great-granddaughter, Onesty Brown and her special cat, April. Friends may call from 6:00pm to 8:00pm, Monday, August 24, 2015 at the SCHOEDINGER NORTHEAST CHAPEL1051 E. Johnstown Rd. (at Beecher Rd) Gahanna, where the Funeral Service will be held at 1:00pm, Tuesday, August 25, 2015. Chaplain Marlene Carson officiating. Interment at Glen Rest Memorial Estate.
