My Uncle Fred was the 4th of nine children. He was the son of Archibald Buckley and Sadie Mae (Starwalt) Goss. I have many good memories of visiting him. He always had horses to ride, chickens to feed, and any number of animals for a child to enjoy.
His obituary states that his name was Fred Archie Goss but when he, my cousin Lee Roy, and I were working on the family tree he told me his name was Fred Allen Goss. Most of the time his name was listed as Fred A and I think because of Grandpa being Archibald (Arch) people naturally went with that.
