Mrs. Mabel Baker Boss Dies at Townville
Mrs. Mabel Baker Boss, aged 78, a life-ling resident of the Townville community died at her home in the borough at 6:55 o'clock last night. She was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Baker and born August 2, 1862. She was married to W.H. Boss, who conducted a drug store in Townville for a number of years and passed away several years ago.
Mrs. Boss was a member of the Methodist church from girlhood, a teacher in the Sunday school and a pianist for a number of years. She was also a member of the Pierian club of Townville.
The deceased leaves the following children: Mrs. Pearl Boss Courtney of Townville; Dr. William Orlo Boss of New York City; and Carlos O. Boss of Union City. There is one granddaughter and a brother, Charles Baker of Paducah, Ky.
The body is at the W.L. Arnold funeral home and arrangements for services will be made today.
