Charles Green writes:
"Most of the information on Jasper Linus Cutting and family comes from the family bible he purchased in 1873 in Kansas. It had vital statistics on Jasper, Eliza and all their kids with middle initial only on most of them. Most of the middle names were provided by his son Leander G. Cutting (my great grandfather) in a small note book he used like a diary in his later years. A piece of paper tucked into the bible had the vital statistics for Leander's children and duplicated data later found in Leander's small notebook. The bible was passed through my grandmother Florence, my father Othanile, mother Edith and brother Tim and finally to me Charles P. Green in 1994. The small notebook of L. G. Cutting was also passed to me that way."
