Obituary:
Mrs. Joseph Cole departed this life Wednesday May 3, at the family home east of town at the age of 24 years, 9 months and 1 day. Internal cancer of the head was the cause of her death and her suffering at times was most acute. Eliza Alice Bolsinger, daughter of Mrs. and Mrs. Charles Bolsinger was born near Colesburg, Iowa, August 2, 1897. She was united in marriage with Joseph Cole, September 18, 1915. Four children were born to Mr. and Mrs. Cole - the second one dying in infancy. Those surviving are Sarah Jane, Leroy Edward and Harold Merrill, all of tender years and so much in need of a mother's love and care. She is also survived by her husband, her parents, two grandmothers, six sisters and two brothers besides other relatives and friends by whom she will be sadly missed. Funeral services were held Friday in charge of Rev. W. Minor Lemen. Interment was made at Oak Hill cemetery.
