Mrs. Ball was a member of the Episcopal Church of the Good Shepherd, and of the Women's Club of Norfolk, taking an active part in he work of the club.
Besides her husband, she is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Julien R. Hume, Jr.; a son, John R. Ball; three grandchildren, a brother, E.C. Knight, and a sister, Mrs. V.R. Stell, all of Norfolk.
Services will be conducted at he H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments, Thursday at 11 a.m. by the Rev. Norman T. Slater, rector of the Church of the Good Shepherd. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
