MYRTLE - Beatrice Boatner Martin, 87, died Monday, Dec. 13, 2004, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Union County. She was born Dec. 29, 1916, in Union County to the late Newt and Virgie Boatner. She was a member of Amaziah Baptist Church and a retired factory worker.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at United Funeral Service Chapel with Bro. Leonard Howell and Bro. William Phillip officiating. Burial will be in Amaziah Cemetery.
Survivors include several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Collier Martin; a son, Billy Gene Boatner; a sister, Clara Lee Farr; and two brothers, Johnny Guy Boatner and Andrew Boatner.
Pallbearers will be David Farr, Marty Farr, Joey Farr, Steven Farr, Brett Rhea and Ricky Boatner.
