The funeral of B. Frank Druckenmiller, 83, who for nearly 50 years was superintendent of the Deisher Knitting Mills, Kutztown, was held Wednesday at the Brumbach Funeral Home, College Hill. The Rev. J. W. Bittner officiated, and the burial was made in Hope Cemetery . He died January 21, 1956 of a heart attack at his home, 407 N. 5th St. , Emmaus, to which he moved last fall. He retired in 1952. A native of Macungie Twp., Lehigh Co., he was the son of the late Tilghman & Barbara (Frey) Druckenmiller. He was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church , were he taught bible class for years, and belonged to F.O.E. Aerie 839, and the social club, also of Kutztown, and to Post C., Travelers Protective Assn., Reading . Surviving are his wife Annie Prutzman Druckenmiller, formerly proprietor of Shankweiler's Store, 2 sons, George, Braintree , Mass. and Clarence, Kutztown, a daughter, Mrs. Thomas Edwards, Westfield , Mass. , also a stepson & stepdaughter, Nevin Shankweiler, Manilus, N. Y. and Mrs. Adolph Wagner, Emmaus, 2 sisters, Mrs. Minnie Delong, Emmaus, and Mrs. Warren Johnson, Reading , and four grandchildren.
