Johnstown Tribune-Democrat, September 22, 1932:

Mrs. Herman Heidorn, whose maiden name was Ida Catherine Ream, died of a complication of diseases late last night at her home on Solomon road, Walnut Grove. She had been ill a long time. Mrs. Heidorn was born in the city 47 years ago, a daughter of Jacob D. Ream, of Franklin street, Eighth Ward, and Mrs. Mary Ann (Mishler) Ream, who died in the Eighth Ward in 1931.

Mrs. Heidorn is survived by these children: Henry, of 1064 Solomon road; Mrs. Harold Harenberg, Robert, Herman Jr.; William, John, Mary, Calvin and Margaret, all at home. Mrs. Heidorn is also survived by her father and the following brothers and sisters: Mrs. Max Probst, of 906 Franklin street; Sarah, Jean, Mrs. Clark Alters and William, all of Franklin street: Mrs. Oliver Doran, of Michigan, and Mrs., Russell Miller and Mrs. Van Stagg, of Pittsburgh. Funeral services will be held at the Heidorn home at 2:30 o’clock on Sunday afternoon by the Rev. Theodore Buch, D. D., pastor of the Zion Lutheran Church, with interment in Richland Cemetery.
