Roanoke--Amos Kindig, one of Roanoke's earliest settlers, died Saturday at the home of his daughters, Mrs. John Brooking, of Pekin, after six months' illness of paralysis.
The remains were shipped here Monday morning and interment was made at the city cemetery.
