Helen was born on Jan. 29, 1927, in Syracuse and was a daughter of the late Leon and Gladys (Wyles) Frantz. She worked for over 35 years as a Rehabilitation Therapist at the Willard Psychiatric Center. Helen was an extraordinary woman who enjoyed life on Seneca Lake for 61 years. She had a host of friends and was known as everyone's mother or grandmother. Helen enjoyed entertaining, opening her home to many. She liked playing cards, watching CNN, painting, and cooking big meals, and she was known by her family for the "good potatoes". Above all, Helen cherished the time she spent with her loving family.

Helen was predeceased by her beloved husband and daughter, John Norman and Linda Jean Waddell.
