Donna Ashbaugh, 79, of Moorhead, MN, died Sunday, August 16, 2015, in Sanford Health's Palliative Care Unit, Fargo, ND.

Donna Mae Ashbaugh was born October, 17th 1935 to Marion and Paul Jehs in Wolverton, MN. The family moved to rural Pelican Rapids, MN when she was 6. She attended Country District 12 School through the 10th grade.

Donna was united in marriage to Robert "Bobby" Ashbaugh on April 4, 1953. Bobby was deployed to the Korean War soon after their wedding where he was killed in action on July 24, 1953. Donna never let the love of Bobby fade and missed him dearly through her life.

Donna married Linden "Ole" Krull in February of 1959 and together they had five children. Their youngest son, Duane, died in early infancy. Together they raised their children and later divorced. After their divorce Donna took back her previous married name of Ashbaugh.

She was a hard worker and worked until she was injured while working. 

While residing in Moorhead Donna found much enjoyment in being "Grandma" to her grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She had a deep love of animals having taken care of everything from livestock to household pets, including her most recent companion, TJ. Donna took pleasure in many TV shows and planned her life around them watching Wheel of Fortune, Price is Right, HGTV, Soaps, QVC, Home Shopping and Friendship set to music. 

She was preceded in death by her first husband Robert "Bobby" Ashbaugh, infant son Duane, parents and brothers; Tom, David, Don, Herbert and Roger.

She is survived by her children; Cindy, Ray, Rick and Jim Krull, 13 grandchildren; her brothers Robert Jehs, Walt Jehs and sister Darlene Brandon.

Memorial gathering will be Friday, August 21, from 1:00 - 2:00 p.m., followed by the memorial service at 2:00 p.m., in Wright Funeral Home, Moorhead.

Interment will be at Grove Lake Cemetery, rural Pelican Rapids, MN.
