Esther V. Comstock

Casper - Services for Esther V. Comstock will be held Wednesday at 1 p.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints at Seventh and Missouri streets.

Mrs. Comstock died Sunday morning at Natrona County Memorial Hospital after a lengthy illness. She was 73 and had lived in Casper since 1954.

She was born in Leadville, Colo. on Dec. 12, 1909 to Carl and Signe Wahlgren. She grew to adulthood in Colorado and Nebraska. In 1940, she moved to Cheyenne from Fort Collins, Colo. after living in California.

She moved to Casper in 1954 with Fred C. Comstock. Mr. Comstock preceded her in death in 1966.

She was a member of the LDS Sixth Ward in Casper.

Survivors include three sons, two of Casper and one of Loveland, Colo., Mrs. Maxine Camp of Cheyenne, and one of Casper; two brothers, Kenneth and Harry Wahlgren and one sister, Signe Block, all of Gothenberg, Neb. Nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren also survive her.

Her parents and two brothers also preceded her in death.

Burial will be in Highland Cemetery.
