He came to North Dakota with his parents in 1905 and shortly after that filed a homestead about 2 miles north of Turtle Lake. He has been engaged in farming since that time.
He died at the Bismarck Hospital at 1:30 o'clock Thursday morning, May 20, 1943 at the age of 57 years, 11 months and 19 days. He leaves to mourn his death the following brothers and sisters. Henry, Anthon, and Gustav Field of Turtle Lake and Hjalmar, of Butte and Minnie or Mrs. Henry Larson, of Turtle Lake and Hilda or Mrs. Hjalmar Magnuson of Canby, Minnesota.
His parents and three brothers preceded him in death. The brothers were Casper, Bennie and Carl. Milo never married.
Funeral serves were conducted Saturday afternoon, May 22, by Rev. H.W. Sorenson at the East Crooked Lake church and interment made in the cemetery there.
The pallbearers were Gilbert Holtan, Knud Lindteigen, Theo Thronson, Ole Kvamme, Greg Thoreson and Amos Matthews.
