Mosier
Daniel Mosier, Sr., died Thursday evening, at 7:30 at his home in Towanda township, of heart trouble. Mr. Mosier had been ill for two or three years but seemed a great deal better than he had been for some time. He had partaken of a hearty supper, was attacked soon afterwards and died in five minutes. He was born in Ohio, was 79 years old, came here from Illnois in 1868 and homesteaded the place on which he died. He had been in a factor in transforming western Butler from a prairie country to a rich agricultuarl district and in making history in this county. - El Dorado Republican.
