Funeral services for Helen “Dit” Butler, 91, of West Monroe will be held at 2:00 PM, Thursday, August 20, 2015 in the chapel of Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe. Dr. George Wortham will officiate. Interment will follow at Hasley Cemetery under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe.
Mrs. Butler was born in Winona, Mississippi on January 8, 1924 and passed away August 17, 2015 in West Monroe. She was a member of Highland Presbyterian Church and was preceded in death by her husband, Bernon Butler; parents, Howard and Annie Drane; and 5 sisters and 1 brother.
Mrs. Butler is survived by her daughters, Shela Butler Williams and husband Tom, Bonnie Butler Lindsay and husband Doug, Sherree Butler Futrell; grandchildren, Doug Lindsay, Jr., Brock Lindsay, Sr. and wife Jodi, Michael Lindsay and wife Jessica, Walt Williams and wife Katie, Lou-Anne Williams, Kellie Richardson Vincent and husband Vincent; great-grandchildren, Maddie Lindsay, Brock Lindsay, Jr., Hunter Vincent, Tyler Vincent and Keller Vincent; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Doug Lindsay, Jr., Brock Lindsay, Sr., Michael Lindsay, Walt Williams, Roger Vincent III and Rusty Lavender.
