Doris Marie Baker, 80, of Moville died Thursday, Feb. 6, 2003, in Correctionville, Iowa.

Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Moville Evangelical Church, with the Rev. Ken Brakefield officiating. Burial will be in Arlington Township Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service Saturday at the church. Arrangements are under the direction of Christy-Smith McCulloch Chapel in Moville.

Mrs. Baker was born Aug. 21, 1922, in Washington, Ind., the daughter of Charles and Sarah (Remmel) LeMasters. She graduated from Washington High School in Indiana. She worked to the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II, as a parachute inspector.

She married Dallas E. Baker on Sept. 9, 1945, in New Albony, Ind. They moved to California in 1955 and to Moville in 1975. Mr. Baker died in 1993. She entered the Correctionville Nursing and Rehab Center in 2001.

She attended Moville Evangelical Church.

Survivors include two sons, Michael Baker of Moville and Darrell Baker and his wife, Tina, of Irvine, Calif.; a niece and her husband, Merrilyn and Howard Creekmur of Omaha; two grandchildren; and a great-grandson.

She was also preceded in death by her parents and a brother, William LeMasters.
