MRS. NELLIE V. CHAPMAN, 51 E. Washington St., died at Washington County Hospital on Thursday at 11:30 pm of complications, aged 57 years.

She was a member of the Volunteers of America.

Surviving are: children, James Chapman, Kemps Mill; Mrs. Edward Harp, this city; Alfred Chapman, Halfway; Milford, U.S. Army, England; Virginia Chapman, New York City; Betty Chapman and Mrs. William Barnhart, both of this city; sister, Mrs. R. J. Strawsburg; brothers, George W. Carroll, and Charles W. Carroll, this city; and 11 grandchildren.

Services Sunday at 2 pm at Minnich Funeral Home by the Rev. Paul E. Holdcraft. Interment in Hedgesville Cemetery, W. Va.
