Waterloo Region Record, Aug 17, 2015:
ALBRECHT, Reuben Levi Passed away on Saturday, August 15, 2015 at his home R.R. # 1 Millbank. He was born 84 years ago in Wellesley Township and was the son of the late Noah and Katie (Lichty) Albrecht. Beloved wife of Matilda (Kuepfer) Albrecht with whom he celebrated 54 years of marriage. Dear father of Isabel and Dan Kipfer of Millbank, Norman and Nancy Albrecht of Newton, Ivan and Susan Albrecht of Harriston, Kenneth and Kathleen Albrecht of Milverton, Elroy and Amanda Albrecht of Millbank, Earl and Kathleen Albrecht of Tehkummah, Lloyd and Martha Albrecht of Newton, John and Linda Albrecht of Harriston, Peter and Susan Albrecht of Atwood, Anna Mae and Alvin Kuepfer of Newton, Kathleen and Manuel Streicher of Newton, Paul and Sandra Albrecht of Tavistock. Sadly missed by seventy- three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Remembered by his sister Barbara Schmidt of Milverton and a number of brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law. Reuben was predeceased by a daughter Ruth in infancy, two grandchildren, brothers Amos Albrecht, Harvey and Malinda Albrecht, sisters Lydia and John Schmidt, Edna and Bill Wagler and brother-in-law Jake Schmidt. Reuben was a member of the Old Order Amish Faith. Family and friends will be received at Reuben's home 5500 William Hastings Line, R.R. # 1 Millbank today (Monday) after 2:00 p.m. and again on Tuesday. The funeral service will take place on Wednesday, August 19, 2015 at 9:00 a.m. at the home with Bishop Jonas Kuepfer officiating. Interment to follow in the 7th Line Amish Cemetery (Wellesley Township). Mark Jutzi Funeral Home , Milverton assisted with the arrangements.
