Ephraim second married Sarah and to this union at least one daughter was born, Alice. Two obituaries for Ephraim state that he was survived by a son, George P Lawrence. George's death record also lists Ephraim as his father with his first wife Martha. A second son, John W Patch, is listed with Ephraim in the 1850 and 1865 census.
