Clinton Burke Gass, 95, professor emeritus of mathematics at DePauw University, where he taught for more than three decades, died July 27, 2015 in Logan, Utah.

A community memorial service will be conducted Saturday, Aug. 22 at Gobin United Methodist Church, Greencastle, with light refreshments and social time with family from 1 p.m. and a celebratory service at 2 p.m.

A graveside commitment ceremony to follow will be performed by the Masons of Temple Lodge 47 at Forest Hill Cemetery, Greencastle.

Clinton Burke Gass served in the United States Army during World War II. He worked in a Special Engineer Detachment on the Manhattan Project in Los Alamos, New Mexico.
