Edgar Weber, 72, died in a Junction hospital Wednesday, Feb. 2, 1977, at 1:30 a.m.
Funeral services were held Friday, Feb. 4, at 10 a.m., in Beckmann Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Kermit Menking officiating. Burial followed in the City Cemetery.
Mr. Weber was born Feb. 5, 1904, in Gillespie County, the son of John P. Weber and Anna Kuenemann Weber.
He is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Calvin Weber, Fredericksburg, and one sister, Clara, Mrs. Alex Priess.
Preceding him in death were two brothers, Alfons and Walter Weber, and the following sisters: Mrs. Lillie Beyer, Mrs. Meta Oehler, Miss Mary Weber, Mrs. Selma Beyer and Mrs. Annie Beyer.
Pallbearers were Milton Oehler, Homer Fikes, Martin Beyer, Leroy Hohenberger, Jerry Hohenberger and Larry Welch.
The Men's Choir of Zion Lutheran Church sang at the service, and Mrs. Victor Stahl was the organist.
