Orena "Jimmie" Tingle, 79, of Bedford, Ky., died Friday, Nov. 26, 2004, at her daughter's residence.
She was born Nov. 28, 1924, at Wise's Landing in Trimble County, Ky., the daughter of Clellan and Lelah Craig Perkinson. She was a housewife, and an employee of the cafeteria in the Trimble County Schools. She was a member of the Bedford Christian Church.
Surviving are one son, Dale Tingle of Tampa, Fla.; two daughters, Vivian Consley of Bedford and Tami Adamski of Milton; three brothers, Billy Joe Perkinson of Bedford, Lawrence Andrew Perkinson of Castleberry, Fla., and Graham Perkinson of Olympia, Wash.; four sisters, Gail Mahoney of Carrollton, Ky., Jean Kelly and Dorothy Dean, both of Bedford, and Gloria Schwab of Louisville, Ky.; five grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, R.C. Tingle; sons Ronnie and Donnie Tingle; three sisters, Alma Hakes, Helen Moss and Martha Krohn; five brothers, Claude, Maurice, Carroll, Bradley and Leonard Perkinson; one grandson, and one granddaughter.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Ransdell Funeral Home in Bedford, with burial in the Bedford IOOF Cemetery.
Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday, and after 9 a.m. Tuesday, at the funeral home.
