BRIGHAM CITY – Clyde Watkins Kidman passed away on Monday, August 10, 2015 with his family by his side.
Clyde was born on July 11, 1931 in Ogden, Utah a son of Mabel Watkins and Hyrum Kidman.
He graduated from South Cache High School and attended Utah State University graduating with a BS in agriculture and then continuing on to receive a MS in horticulture. He was a hard working man who enjoyed farming throughout his life.
Clyde graduated from ROTC at Utah State University and served in the Army as a first lieutenant for two years mostly in Madrid, Spain.
Clyde married Reea Petersen on August 22, 1956 in the Salt Lake Temple.
Clyde was a very devoted husband and father, who dedicated his life to his family. He was a wonderful educator and spent 40 years teaching science at Box Elder High School. Clyde was a devoted member of the Church, who loved genealogy and temple work; and gave service to all.
Clyde is survived by his sweetheart of almost 59 years Reea, children: Michael Clyde (Elaine) Kidman, Debora K. (Dan) Robinson, nine grandchildren: James (Camille), Brent (April), Matthew, Emily, Tahnyah, Veetahlee, Kristen (Cameron), David and Sarah, two great-grandchildren: Lucy and Eliza and sister Mary (Robert) Graves.
Preceded in death by his parents; one sister and three brothers.
Funeral services will be Monday, August 17, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at the Brigham City 10th Ward Chapel, 145 W. 500 S., Brigham City.
Friends may call on Sunday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Myers Mortuary, 205 S. 100 E., Brigham City and on Monday from 10:00 to 10:40 a.m. at the Church.
Interment will be in the Logan Cemetery with Military Honors Accorded.
