Martha Saulsbery, 82, Lincoln, and formerly of West Salem, died Sunday, Feb. 26, 15 11:45 a.m. in Lincoln Memorial Hospital.
Services will be Wednesday in the Ingram Funeral Home in West Salem. Burial will be in Ebenezer Cemetery.
Mrs. Saulsbery was born Dec. 22, 1901, in Bennington Community, the daughter of Jeremiah and Eliza (Russell) Rodgers. She married Leslie Anderson June 5, 1919, in Decatur, and he died May 5, 1945. She then married Buhl Saulsbery July 31, 1948, in Parkersburg, and he preceded her in death April 10, 1964.
Survivors include a son, Leslie Anderson, Decatur; five daughters, Mrs. Glen (Opal) Johnson, North Fork, Ark.; Mrs. James (Betty) Eskew, Lincoln; Mrs. A. J. (Rosella) Spreen, Jacksonville; Mrs. Richard (Linda) Wood, Springfield; and Mrs. Lillian Bailey, Humbole, Texas; a foster son, Jack Rodgers, West Salem; 16 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Marie Anderson; four sons, Herbert, Walter, Wayne, and Russell; two sisters, Blanche Woodrum and Geneva Merritt; and two husbands.
