Mr. Seward had been confined to his home on Pierson street for several weeks with a bon disease, which affected one of his limbs, and was taken to the Indianapolis hospital several days ago to be operated on. The operation was performed Thursday night, but he regained consciousness but once before his death. His relatives here were notified Friday morning of his condition, but he died before his brother, Jesse Seward, arrived.
The deceased was a son of Mr. and Mrs. Perry Seward, of Broadway Street, and was a member of a family of several children. He leaves a widow and one child, his parents, brothers and sisters.
Lynam & Company's ambulance was sent to the hospital this afternoon, and the body will be brought to the home on Pierson Street.
