Janice M. Foster, age 87, of Blowing Rock, died August 6, 2015.
She was preceded in death by her parents, James Marshall (Poss) and Mary Baldwin Foster. Also two brothers and four sisters.
She is survived by; her daughter, Tonya Poplin of Blowing Rock. A granddaughter Kara McCutchen (Mac) and great granddaughter Isabella Metts, all of Boone. Nieces; Betty Baker (Bill) of Blowing Rock, Marcia Harkey (Ted) of Midland, Nancy Diebold (John) of Charlotte, and Sue Moore (Floyd) of Valle Crucis. Other nieces and nephews also survive.
A private graveside celebration of life service was held at Woodlawn Cemetery in Blowing Rock.
