Joseph Alton Holloway passed away at the wonderful age of 89 years young. He was born to Joseph Archibald Holloway, Jr. and Lola Eunice Ferrell.
He served in the US Navy acquiring veteran status after 12 years. He retired from Kroger Food Store in 1997. Before that he was a truck driver for 30-35 years. He finished out his life at Cartmell Home for the Aged and spent his life caring and loving all that came around him.
Joseph was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers; two sisters; his wife, Olive Inez; one daughter, Deborah Pervis and several grand and great grandchildren.
He is survived by his children; son, Rick Holloway (Barbara), daughter Machonee Bishop, daughter, Rebecca H. Walston (Kenneth Jr) son Joseph Holloway, son Robert Holloway (Jeanette and numerous extended family.
A memorial service will be held at Broyles Chapel Baptist Church.
