A resident of Baton Rouge she died at 9 p.m. on August 7, 2015 at Sunrise Assisted Living on Jefferson Highway, Baton Rouge. She was 93.

She was born on December 29, 1921, in Donaldsonville, grew up in White Castle, and moved to Baton Rouge in 1935. She was a graduate of University High School in Baton Rouge and attended LSU. She was for many years a valued employee of Commercial Securities Co. of Baton Rouge.

Visitation at Rabenhorst Funeral Home, 825 Government St., Baton Rouge, on Saturday, August 15, 2015 at 10 a.m. followed by religious services at 11 a.m. conducted by Deacon Richard Grant. Entombment at Greenoaks Memorial Park Mausoleum.

She is survived by her step-sister June Breaux Greene, step-brother Richard D. Breaux and his wife Laurel “Puddin” Breaux, all of Houma, LA, and by nieces Allyn Hunley Kerr of Franklin, Ruth Hunley Laney of Baton Rouge, LA, Katherine Laney Swindoll of Clute, TX, Mary R. Hunley and Patricia Hunley Odom of Baton Rouge, LA and nephew Edmund Joseph Hunley and his wife Kimberley of Jacksonville, FL. She is also survived by two step-nieces, Suzanne Exnicious of Houston, TX and Laurel Ann Folse of Key Largo; FL step-nephews Scotty Breaux of Houma, LA and Joel Greene of Cairo. GA. She is additionally survived by four great-nephews, Robert McGregor Swindoll of Austin, TX; Rex Laney Swindoll of Asheville, NC; Logan Christopher Kinamore, and James Hunley Odom, and one great-niece, Kristian Muriel Kinamore, all of Baton Rouge, LA.

She was preceded in death by her husband, George Roddy Hatcher; parents Louise Harang Hunley Breaux and Allen Hudson Hunley Sr.; step-father Arthur Michael Breaux; sister Ruth Hunley Laney; brothers Allen Hudson Hunley Jr., Ray Martin Hunley, and John Edmund Hunley; and by sisters-in-law Dot Miller Hunley and Muriel Earle Hunley.
