The daughter of Leslie & Katherine (Jones) Davis, she married her high school sweetheart Lloyd Dewayne Burk in January of 1948. She was a member of the United Church of New Cambria and the Callao American Legion Post #360 Auxiliary. She enjoyed attending her grandchildren's sporting events, watching St. Louis Cardinals games and being with family and friends. She worked as the secretary to the Superintendent of the New Cambria Schools for 19 years. She also sold Farmer's Mutual Insurance for the Burk Insurance Agency for many years.
She is survived by 3 children, Roger Burk and his wife Kay of Fort Madison, IA, Cathy Bocke and her husband Roger of New Cambria, MO & Lloyd Burk and his wife Jeannie of New Cambria, MO; 8 grandchildren, Krista, Travis, Dana, Clay, Brett, Amy, JoDee, & Jeremy; 10 great grandchildren, Erich, Blake, Hannah, Jonathan, Morgan, Emily, Emma, Elijah, Sutton, & Aisley. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and one brother Roland Davis.
