Desiree was born to Rick and KayeLynn Bastian. She was a member of the Rick's Creek Ward in Centerville and an active member in the Young Women's program. She has a strong testimony and love of her Savior Jesus Christ. Her greatest love in life is her family. Her brothers and sister are her hero's. They teased her constantly and she loved every minute of it. Desiree is known for her bright smile, contagious laughter, and being a friend to everyone. She couldn't say goodbye or goodnight without a hug or a kiss. Next to her family and the church she loves her friends and tennis. She is a member of the Viewmont High School tennis team and a nationally ranked tennis player, and qualified to play in the USTA super national tournament in San Diego. There are no words to describe how much she will be missed. She is survived by her parents Rick and KayeLynn, her sister Chelsa Johnson (Jeff), her brothers Cody (Katie) and Tyler, her niece Kennedi, her Granny and her Grandma and Grandpa, as well as her many aunts, uncles and cousins. Desiree died in a tragic car accident along with her older brother Big T on their way home from a family trip to Lake Powell. She was 15.
